Why Bizfinity: BFXS API

Bizfinity's Application Program Interface (API) is designed to allow you to integrate third party applications with the Bizfinity Application Suite. So, if you have an existing accounting system you would like to integrate with Bizfinity's e-Commerce facilities, or even an existing e-Commerce or CRM application you need to connect with Bizfinity's comprehensive order processing or accounting facilities, the API will help you with that process.

Integration of two or more applications is more complex than using Bizfinity's ready-integrated features, so we recommend working with Bizfinity or an accredited Implementation Partner to carry out the work involved.

Bizfinity provides a Java application, BFXS (the Bizfinity Financial Xchange Server) to carry out the work of querying your database and creating an authenticated connection with Bizfinity's hosted servers. Bizfinity uses XML as the basis for BFXS transformations (data conversions) between your existing system and the Bizfinity hosted application.

Please also note that Bizfinity also offers an EDI connector to allow integration with legacy systems using EDI.
